On Relationships

No, not mine silly. That would be crazy.

Back in elementary school, I had a couple of friends but I'm going to follow the story of just one this time. I'm not saying I am Batman but no one has ever seen us in the same room together so just let that sink in.  We were great friends. She listened to what I had to say and was a great sidekick but as we got older things started to change.

Middle school stared and I certainly haven't changed other than my costume getting tighter around the chest but these things will happen. What I did truly notice was the boys starting to take interest in the female of the species and my friend was interested right back. She wouldn't even wear her cape to class and started using things like make-up.

I did my thing while she did hers and I was always there for her when a break up happened or things went wrong. I'd elaborate but I really didn't understand what the big deal was and everything she told me sounded unnecessarily complicated but I figure the main thing was that I was there.

She got engaged after high school and I was realizing that I should have washed my costume at least once through the years or picked a different superhero to obsess over but we can't go back now can we. I was a part of her wedding and I had to wear make up and high heel shoes which I only stabbed three people with so I was pretty proud of myself.
